Friendly train crews often would allow cab rides on the NYSW, usually in Alco RS-1s or EMD GP18s. \u00a0In addition, John Treen, a NYSW conductor, showed multimedia railroad slide shows, cementing the interest in railroad photography.<\/p>\n
In 1975, Tim relocated to Colorado for college, and thus began over 45 years of western railroad photography.<\/p>\n
In addition to railroad photography, Tim is the department photographer for Castle Rock Fire and Rescue, and shoots extensive images of fire\/rescue subjects. \u00a0Landscape photography of the Four Corners Region of \u00a0the United States is another favorite subject.<\/p>\n
